Deal worked on by DJM’s Corporate Team nominated at the UK wide Insider Awards 2025

We are proud to announce that DJM’s Corporate Team has been nominated in the UK wide Insider Dealmakers Awards 2025 in the Deal of the Year (Medium) category. This nomination acknowledges the team’s dedication, expertise and success in delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
The Corporate Team has been recognised for their involvement as lead legal advisers on the sale of Burns Pet Nutrition, a leading pet food company, to Assisi Pet Care. Burns Pet Nutrition was founded by vet, John Burns, who developed formulations committed to pet health. It has since grown to one of the largest companies in Wales. The company was purchased by Assisi Pet Care, who will continue to build the Burns brand and strengthen what they can offer to their customers across Europe.
The team are honoured to be acknowledged alongside other notable deals including, for example, the multimillion-pound investment in Akula Living by BGF and the sale of Hill Biscuits to Ceralto. We congratulate all nominees and wish everyone the best of luck.
